Pork Share - Whole (deposit)
Pork shares are $5.50/lb. paid to Field and Feather Farmstead plus cut and wrap paid to the butcher. Final price determined by final weight. Once item(s) is weighed, farmer will charge you final price less your deposit of $400.00.
Whole, half, and quarter shares are available as custom cut where you decide what cuts you would like from your share or as Farmers Choice where we pick a selection of cuts for you.
All prices are based on hanging weight and do not include butcher fees. Butcher fees are paid separately to the butcher when you pick up your meat.
The balance is due when the hog is butchered. Deposits are non-refundable. You will make two separate payments when picking up your pork. One to Field and Feather Farmstead for the remainder of your total less your deposit, and one to the butcher for cutting and packaging your meat.
The amount of pork you take home will be approximately 70% of the hanging weight and will depend on how you get your pork cut up.
